2024 Spring Summit
Please join us at the 2024 Spring Into Action San Diego Immunization Coalition Summit on
Wednesday, 4/3/24, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the County Operations Center Chambers.
The Summit will highlight the significance of routine immunization schedules. Hear from esteemed speakers, including:
• Dr. Mark Sawyer - Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at UC San Diego and Infectious Disease Specialist from Rady’s Children’s Hospital
• Alana McGrath – Epidemiologist II at the County of San Diego’s Epidemiology and Immunization Services Branch
• Kelley Leung – Immunization Branch Nurse Consultant with the California Department of Public Health
• Michael Powell – Chief, Registry and Assessment Section with the California Department of Public Health
Also, hear from Dr. Marsha Spitzer (Family Health Centers of San Diego), Dr. Erik Hogen (Scripps Health), and
Dr. Kenneth Morris (Children’s Primary Care Medical Group) as they address parental concerns about immunizations.
We will also be providing Nursing CEUs as well as CHES Credits!
