SAN DIEGO IMMUNIZATION REGISTRY (SDIR) TRAINING
The San Diego Regional Immunization Registry (SDIR) is a secure web-based tool that provides a consolidated electronic record of all immunizations given by participating providers in the San Diego area. The tool will improve immunization practices by efficiently managing vaccine forecasts, providing validation and inventory and increasing immunization coverage rates.
To attend SDIR training, please register at sdirtraining.eventbrite.com and choose one of the two available trainings (listed below). Please note that the basic training must be completed prior to Advanced Training registration.
BASIC TRAINING
One day each week (see Eventbrite link)
9 AM - 12:30 PM
BASIC TRAINING
The SDIR Basic Training will provider a primer for new authorized users:

Logging in

Searching records

Adding demographics
-
Entering immunization information
All confirmed training attendees must fully complete and sign a CAIR/SDIR Security Acknowledgement Form.
ADVANCED TRAINING
9 AM - 12 PM
Also called Administrator Training, this is an advanced training on usage and reports:

Vaccine inventory and management

Missed opportunities

Provider profile
All participants must have completed basic training.
